Piping over the string is the new thing…haven’t you seen Jamie Oliver doing it? No, neither have I!!!

This is class…I could never do the running man…but remember mates doing it in the playground at school. Fuck, I’m old!

Ok, so I finally got my iPhone yesterday…it’s been 2 weeks nearly and my patience was slowly running out. They guy who I bought it from in the states didn’t put my full address on the packing slip and plus it was easter, so the package was sort of stuck in limbo, so I spent the day sorting it out so I could use it over here…I thought it would be really complicated but it was very easy indeed.
If anyone wants to do it, go to http://www.ziphone.org/
So you can image I spent most of the day sorting it out…the applications are amazing. My dad would especially love iSolitaire…

I went to see a cool unsigned duo this evening with Jess called ‘Fireside Bellows’. They are Tracy McNeil and Jordie Lane, I loved their vibe, hopefully they will be huge.

I spent the morning recovering and met up with Lou, Nic, Aana & Rachel to see ’Grindhouse’, how it should have been shown, as a double feature…was amazing…though edited like crazy!!

I actually quite enjoyed this film…I got to see it this afternoon before going to work.
A young Bangladeshi woman, Nazneem, arrives in 1980s London, leaving behind her beloved sister and home, for an arranged marriage and a new life. Trapped within the four walls of her flat in East London, and in a loveless marriage with the middle aged Chanu, she fears her soul is quietly dying. Her sister Hasina, meanwhile, continues to live a carefree life back in Bangladesh, stumbling from one adventure to the next. Nazneen struggles to accept her lifestyle, and keeps her head down in spite of life’s blows, but she soon discovers that life cannot be avoided - and is forced to confront it the day that the hotheaded young Karim comes knocking at her door.

I really loved this film
One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry from help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can’t see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Still, Horton stands by the motto that, “After all, a person is a person, no matter how small.”

This morning I went to meet up with my friends Paul & Jane to celebrate their son Oli’s first birthday.
The weather has been glorious (in the late 30s) so it was great to sit out in the sunshine with friends, catch up and celebrate. Paul also got his residency, so that was another big reason to celebrate.

I had my last morning at rehab this morning. It was over 36c so we didn’t have any excercises, they just talked to me about my goals and how I can maintain them. I will miss going there.
I was excited to have an interview in the afternoon at one of the biggest and best Patisserie companies in Melbourne as a part time Pastry Chef and luckily for me I was successful with the position, so I start at the end of March.
My evening at work was pretty funny, I couldn’t stop myself from smiling about my new job. I’m very excited.
